Artist Bio
I am an ecological artist working in illustration, painting, and even porcelain sculpture, creating pieces that explore the intimate relationship between humans and the natural world. Rooted in observation, place, and material awareness, my work reflects cycles of growth, decay, memory, and belonging—inviting viewers to slow down and reconnect with the living systems that sustain us.
I studied art & design at Westminster College with Kay Kuzminski and Suzanne Simpson. Raised in the landscapes of Moab, Utah, I have worked as a professional artist in both Utah and Colorado since 2009, drawing ongoing inspiration from the high desert, mountain landscapes, and shifting seasonal rhythms of the American West. My practice often blends traditional techniques with experimental processes, emphasizing texture, gesture, and organic form. Whether working on paper, canvas, or in three dimensions, I approach each piece as both an act of reverence and inquiry.
My work is guided by ecological awareness and an ethic of care—considering not only subject matter, but also materials, methods, and impact. Through art, I seek to tell quiet stories of resilience and interconnection, honoring both wild spaces and the human experience within them
